Bible Study

We invite you to spend time examining the following Scriptures that shaped this sermon:

Sermon Outline

  • Looking for the kingdom
  • Distracted with business
  • Jesus meets us

  • If you are skeptical about the resurrection examine the evidence. Have you considered that the reason why Mark includes detailed names or that Paul invites examination of the eyewitnesses is that the resurrection is true and can stand up to speculation?  Join the millions who have examined the evidence for themselves and found a strong faith.
  • How hard is it for you to believe that Jesus wants to meet you personally? That he’s waiting for you and has gone before you into places, inviting you to follow? Where do you see him and where do you believe he’s inviting you to meet with him?
  • Let Jesus be present to you in and through his written word. We have a SAPC reading plan we’ll be following this year and would invite you to join us as we read God’s word together. Pick up a copy on Sunday or download it here.
  • Because of this sermon, how has your life changed, matured, or challenged?
  • Who will you tell and what because of what you just heard?
  • How would you explain this to a small child?

The outline and application questions are intended for your further reflection and action upon the weekend message. They are also designed to facilitate discussion and accountability within your Life Group community.
