Bible Study

We invite you to spend time examining the following Scriptures that shaped this sermon:

Sermon Outline

  • Calls us to his presence.
  • Calls us to his mission.

  • Is Jesus calling you to acknowledge his presence and rest in that? Set time aside to be present with him.
  • Is Jesus calling you to trust and move from come and see who he is to… Go and be his disciple?
    • To serve in a new way
    • To give in a new form or amount
    • To invite someone to join you
    • To have that conversation that could bear eternal fruit
  • Haven’t seen God move in the way Luke 9 talks about? When was the last time you were in a position to do so?
  • Let Jesus’ blessing be present to you in and through his written word. We have a SAPC reading plan we’ll be following this year and would invite you to join us as we read God’s word together. Pick up a copy on Sunday or download it here.
  • Because of this sermon, how has your life changed, matured, or challenged?
  • Who will you tell and what because of what you just heard?
  • How would you explain this to a small child?

The outline and application questions are intended for your further reflection and action upon the weekend message. They are also designed to facilitate discussion and accountability within your Life Group community.
