Pints with Priests
Summer 2024
We are thrilled to announce the return of Pints with Priests this summer, featuring a special two-week series you won’t want to miss. Mark your calendars for August 18th and August 25th, from 5 PM to 7 PM, as we gather at Commonhouse Aleworks for an enriching experience that combines fellowship, learning, and lively discussion.
- 8/18 and 8/25 from 5 – 7 PM
- Commonhouse Aleworks
Week One: August 18th
Join us for an insightful evening led by Sarah Katherine Oliphant as she takes us through John Mark Comer’s transformative book, “Practicing the Way.” This session promises to be thought-provoking and inspiring, as we delve into the practical aspects of living out our faith. We encourage you to read the book beforehand so you can fully participate in the discussion and share your reflections. Sarah Katherine’s expertise and passion for spiritual growth will make this an evening of deep exploration and meaningful dialogue.
Week Two: August 25th
In our second session, we will turn our attention to the Book of Common Prayer, a cornerstone of Anglican worship and Christian formation. This week’s discussion will focus on how the Book of Common Prayer shapes our spiritual lives and guides us in our daily practices of faith. Whether you’re new to the Book of Common Prayer or have been using it for years, this session will offer fresh insights and a renewed appreciation for its role in our spiritual journey.
Join Us for Fellowship and Conversation
Pints with Priests is open to everyone, regardless of your level of familiarity with the topics. It’s a fantastic opportunity to connect with others, enjoy a pint, and engage in meaningful conversations about faith and spirituality. The relaxed atmosphere of Commonhouse Aleworks provides the perfect backdrop for these gatherings, making it easy to share and learn from one another.
If you have any questions or need further information, please don’t hesitate to reach out to David at Dlibbon@StAndrews.Church. We look forward to seeing you there and sharing these enriching evenings together. Come ready to learn, discuss, and enjoy the fellowship of our community.
